WILLIAMSBURG — A 20-year-old Topeka man who was arrested in connection with an incident Saturday in which a Williamsburg man was hit over the head with a tire iron has more on his shoulders to ponder. Michael Runnells is now under arrest for suspicion of burglary, theft, possession of stolen property and criminal damage to property. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said a burglary occurred at a Williamsburg home prior to Sunday morning. Items stolen include a WII, six WII games, a 1989 class ring and a gold necklace. The sheriff’s office said the items were recovered.
