OTTAWA — Although Wednesday’s party is in the morning, all the stars will be out, including Gov. Mark Parkinson, transportation secretary Deb Miller, Mayor Linda Reed, City Commissioner Gene Ramsey, Franklin County Commission Chairman David Hood, and Ottawa Chamber of Commerce president Tom Weigand. They will cut the ribbon to the new U.S. 59 at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the American Eagle Outfitters distribution center. Because of the event, the Ottawa City Commission will meet earlier at 8 a.m. and the Franklin County Commission will meet later at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
