OSAWATOMIE — The John Brown Jamboree has a big night tonight. The annual parade is at 7:30 p.m. on Main Street That is preceded by the Presbyterian Church’s cookout from 5:30 p.m. until dark and the Church of Christ ice cream social is 5:30 to 8 p.m. The Osawatomie school summer band and the high school jazz band will perform at 6 p.m., said Grady Atwater, one of the organizers of the jamboree. The Band of Oz will perform after the parade on the stage behind Memorial Hall. A kids’ tennis clinic will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Karl E. Cole Sports Complex. The jamboree continues through Sunday.
