LOUISBURG — A 61-year-old motorcyclist from Mound City was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital Saturday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Ronald Briggs was driving a motorcycle and pulling a trailer south on U.S. 69 near Louisburg. Briggs lost control of his motorcycle because of the weather and he laid the motorcycle down, troopers said. He was wearing a helmet.
