OTTAWA – The letter is in the mail and cities in Franklin County should get it this week. After a flap with a Williamsburg City Council member over selling culverts, the county commission agreed to allow the cities to piggy-back on county supply bids.
County administrator Lisa Johnson said the county will notify cities whenever the county plans major purchases or bulk buys and will allow cities to place additional orders on the bids the county receives for those purchases.
