LANE — A 7-year-old boy was taken by air ambulance to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City as a result of a farm accident this weekend. Undersheriff Steve Lunger said the boy was riding on a tractor near Lane. Lunger said the boy fell off the tractor, which was pulling a mower. The mower ran over the boy’s leg, he said. Further details weren’t immediately available.
