OLATHE — Parts of I-35 will be closed Thursday for pavement survey work. The Kansas Department of Transportation said that, weather permitting, about a mile northbound and southbound lanes at the Homestead Lane overpass will be partially closed on a rolling schedule. Survey crews will start on the southbound lanes Thursday morning and the closures will be moved. They’ll move to the northbound lanes in the afternoon. The survey will be completed Thursday afternoon, KDOT said. Drivers should expect minor delays and may want to find alternative routes, the state said.
