OTTAWA — The groundbreaking for the Ottawa Municipal Airport’s new terminal and hangar will be at 5 tonight at the airport. A reception will follow. The new construction replace the terminal and main hangar which were severely damaged by last year’s microburst that lashed the airport with winds of nearly 100 miles an hour. Several airplanes were also destroyed. The construction, which will be paid by bonds and an insurance settlement, should be complete by this fall.
