OTTAWA — Ottawa police dealt with some theft reports over the weekend. Heartland Truss reported that someone broke through a door at the business in the 2300 block of East Wilson and stole several items Friday. Police said someone stole several pieces of sheet metal from a yard in the 500 block of South Poplar and a boy’s bicycle was stolen from a yard in the 300 block of South Oak Saturday. Someone took items from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of South Mulberry early Saturday. Franklin County Crime Stoppers said if you know something about these crimes or any crime committed in Franklin County, you should call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-311-TIPS. Callers can receive a reward and remain anonymous.
