OTTAWA — The city’s interest in pay-day loan companies will be put off for another day. The Ottawa City Commission has decided to delay on holding a public hearing on proposed rules for new pay-day loan companies. Commissioners said they want more information on how other cities regulate them. If the city were to OK new rules, they wouldn’t affect existing pay-day loans.
