OTTAWA — Harvesters Community Food Network will hold a rural mobile food pantry in Ottawa on Friday afternoon from 1 to 4 in the Orscheln’s Farm and Home parking lot, 2008 S. Princeton. The rural mobile food pantry will serve any Franklin County family in need of emergency food. ECKAN’s Richard Jackson said the distribution of primarily fresh produce will take place on a first-come, first-serve basis. Recipients will be asked to provide the number in their household, and volunteers will guide the families through the process. ECKAN Franklin County Community Ccenter is a member of Harvesters’ network. Rural mobile food pantries will on the first Friday of the month on a regular schedule.
