OTTAWA — Ottawa city commissioners decided Monday to schedule a vote next week for a change to the city’s zoning regulations. Those changes related to what is called mixed-use districts. Those districts would have a combination of different businesses and light industries. City manager Richard Nienstedt said the changes would make the rules a bit clearer. However, commissioners tabled a proposal to change an area in the 1100 block of North Main Street from a general commercial category to a mixed use district. They said they want more information before they decide.
