OTTAWA — It’s a stripes and stars-studded Independence Day night with the Ottawa City Band. The band will perform a variety of all-American tunes before the Ottawa Jaycees fireworks display Sunday night. Selections include John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever” and the “Washington Post March,” Meredith Wilson’s “76 trombones,” “Amazing Grace,” “Home on the Range” and the rousing “National Emblem” march. The band will play Sunday night at about 8 in Forest Park.
