OTTAWA — The Ottawa Youth in Government’s ribbon-cutting for their new rain garden at Kanza Park originally scheduled for today has been postponed. The group used part of a water-quality grant to build the rain garden and build 100 rain barrels for use by Ottawa homeowners. The garden and barrels are part of a city-wide effort to cut the amount of storm-water runoff into the Marais des Cygnes River and its feeder creeks.
