OTTAWA – Frankin County public works director Jim Haag said construction will begin next week on Montana Road between Sand Creek Road and the new U.S. 59 interchange. That part of Montana Road will be closed for construction, he said. That part of Montana Road is gravel and has been severely damaged by the heavy traffic using the new U.S. 59 interchange. The road will be paved. Most of the work will be paid by the state. Construction is scheduled for 80 days.
