GARNETT — Garnett artist Nell Stockdall is the winner of Garnett’s contest to design a new city logo. She wins $150 and a plaque from Garnett’s Walker Art Committee. Her design will be used to promote Garnett’s 150th anniversary next year. Stockdall’s artwork is a collage of notable images, including the crown of Lady Liberty, which stands in the courthouse lawn, the Prairie Spirit Trail; a railroad caboose; outline of the ethanol plant and the historic Harris House.
