LAWRENCE — Lawrence police chased a suspect from an armed robbery through yards in western Lawrence Monday evening. The Lawrence Police Department said the KU Credit Union was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon. The Lawrence Journal-World reported the foot race occurred Monday evening after a police officer spotted a suspect on a street corner in western Lawrence. The suspect wasn’t identified.
