OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie school superintendent Gary French told the Osawatomie Journal that USD 367 managed to weather what has been an unusually tough budget year. The district barely ended up in the black and French said he didn’t have to dip into reserves to make up end-of-the-year shortfalls like other districts were forced to. The district saw a small gain in its capital-outlay fund. However, he says the contingency reserve fund remained flat.
