LAWRENCE — A 21-year-old Lawrence man has been indicted for armed bank robbery by a federal grand jury. The U.S. Attorney’s office saids Timothy Hays is in jail in connection with the robbery of the KU Credit Union in west Lawrence. Hays was arrested after he led Lawrence police officers on a foot race through yards in west Lawrence. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.
