MANHATTAN–If your tomatoes aren’t doing too well, it could be because of the heat. Ward Upham, a Horticulturist with Kansas State University, says if it gets above 75 at night and above 95 in daytime, tomatoes won’t yield much. There are special “heat set” tomatoes that are designed for the hot weather.
