GARNETT — July isn’t over and Anderson County has received more rain than normal for July and for the year. But state climatologist Mary Knapp said you shouldn’t complain. She said the climate prediction center has already issued a La nina watch. Knapp said a La Nina in Kansas means drier than normal climate — and warmer than normal temperatures.
