OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission is expected to adopt the Capital Improvements Plan for next year at this morning’s meeting at 9:30. Capital improvements refer to big-ticket items. On the proposed list for next year: a fire truck, runway improvements at the airport and a storm water improvement.
City manager Richard Nienstedt said the CIP is a ordering of priorities for the city and serve as a guideline as money and circumstances dictate.
