TOPEKA — Candidates running for state and county offices must file their pre-primary election campaign reports by Monday. In addition, state or local candidates who receive any contributions of $300 or more must file a report of last-minute contributions on July 29. The reports contain the names of most contributors, how much they contributed and how campaign funds are spent. The reports are public documents. Local filings can be reviewed at the county clerks’ offices. Candidates for statewide office file their reports only with the secretary of state. State candidate reports can be viewed on the Kansas Government Ethics Commission’s Website at www.kansas.gov/ethics.
