OTTAWA — And for Ottawa Municipal Auditorium, the city picks door number three. The city commission picked the third option for replacing the auditorium’s failed air-conditioning system. Rather than replace the big system, the city will put in four smaller units that when combined, will be enough to cool the auditorium. At $82,040, the third option costs a bit more but city manager Richard Nienstedt said it will be more dependable and if one unit is down the system will still continue to offer cooling for the building.
