PRETTY PRAIRIE — Mound City rodeo roper Trenton Johnson was tied for second in Wednesday’s opening round of tie-down roping at the Pretty Prairie Rodeo. The Pretty Prairie Rodeo, which bills itself as the state’s largest night rodeo, goes through the weekend. Fort Scott bareback rider Bo Casper moved up to No. 24 in the world standings on the basis of his first-place finish at Pretty Prairie.
