OTTAWA — Because of weather-related delays, work on part of Ransom Memorial Hospital’s new $9 million expansion project remains behind. RMH chief executive officer Larry Felix said the surgical suite close to the schedule but the second-floor obstetrics wing is behind by about three weeks. Although crews will try to expedite the work, it’s unlikely that the OB-GYN wing will be ready until later in October, he said. The new surgical wing should be ready at or slightly after Labor Day, he said. As staff moves into the new wing, rehabilitation work will crank up on the existing surgical wing and that work should be complete in January or February, he said.
