OTTAWA — Funeral services for Franklin County deputy Sam Smith will be announced. Dengel and Son Mortuary will handle arrangements. Smith, 22, was killed late Friday night when his patrol car ran off California Road five miles north of Williamsburg as he responded to a domestic disturbance.
