PAOLA — The Miami County Fair gets cranked up Wednesday in Paola with several events. The Miami County Fair parade will be 7 p.m. Wednesday around Paola’s downtown square. The fair board’s Jean Sims said the Rotary Club’s fair parade is one of the highlights of the annual fair. It can often be an hour and a half long and includes floats, antique cars and tractors and lots of candy, she said. Father and son singing duo Tony and Anthony Juarez will provide free music entertainment tomorrow night at 8:30. Today’s events include entries and judging, the lamb and sheep show, the “Old Gospel Church Hour” show at 7 and the Sweetheart crowning and Mutton Bustin’ at 8 the arena.
