OTTAWA — Norman Wooge’s Republican primary challenge to 5th District Franklin County Commissioner Con Stottlemire hasn’t been one of those high-dollar campaigns. Both Stottlemire and Wooge have filed forms seeking exemptions to state campaign finance reporting. That means they both pledge that they won’t raise more nor spend more than $500 for their campaigns. The deadline for filing campaign finance forms was Monday. County Clerk Shari Perry said that Democrat Terry Johnson of Rantoul failed to report by Monday’s deadline. He’ll face either Wooge or Stottlemire for the November general election.
