OTTAWA — Ottawa police and Franklin County deputies responded to a fight in which someone reported that handgun was involved early Sunday morning in the 1600 block of South Osage drive. The sheriff’s office said while police officers interviewed witnesses, a deputy approached two men, who ran away, starting a foot chase. Jacob Goodwin, 20, Ottawa, was caught and arrested. He was booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor, obstructing the legal process. Anthony Perry, 18, Ottawa was arrested later on suspicion of a misdemeanor, obstructing the legal process. Another man, Justin Starbenz, 23, Ottawa, was arrested at the scene and held for other law enforcement agencies. There was no immediate report if a gun was involved.
