SALINA–A big honor for the Ottawa University Sports Department. Kathrine Tooley, Sports Information Director at OU, has been named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference’s Sports Information Director of the year. The official announcement was made today in conjunction with the KCAC Football Media Day at Salina. Tooley was nominated by Arabie Conner, Athletic Director at OU. Tooley is a 2001 Graduate of OU with a BA Degree in History. She also holds a B-S in Information Resource Science Degree from Emporia State University. Before joining the OU Administrative Staff, Tooley was a Sports Information Director Intern for several months at Creighton University. She also served as a Sports Information Assistant at OU.
