OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department investigated two thefts and a vandalism case. Deputies received a report that several items were stolen from a barn in the 2200 block of Georgia Road near Homewood before Saturday morning. The loss was estimated at more than $1,120. A trailer was stolen from the 2300 block of Shawnee Road near Centropolis Thursday evening. The loss was estimated at $500. The sheriff’s department said vandals damaged two vehicles and a shed door in the 1900 block of Eisenhower Road near Princeton Thursday afternoon. Damages were estimated at about $2,000.
