LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas commencement ceremony — with its traditional march down Mount Oread from the campanile to Memorial Stadium — will move from afternoon to morning next spring. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 May 22. Moving to the morning will help avoid the often hot afternoon weather. The earlier time also gives organizers more options in case of inclement weather.
