GARNETT–One more step has been taken toward the construction of a new elementary school in Garnett. The USD 365 School Board has approved a bond election that calls for spending almost 14 and a half million dollars for the school and for making repairs to schools in Greeley, Mont Ida and Westphalia. The current Garnett Elementary Center would be demolished but the Ray Meyer Gym would be preserved. The Bond will be on the November ballot.
