OTTAWA — The Franklin County Red Cross is holding a blood drive this afternoon from noon to 6 at Celebration Hall. Organizers hoping for 77 usable units of blood, said Red Cross donor recruiter Bev Kerbs. The Red Cross has a new campaign that could get you gassed up, she said. Donors will be entered into a daily drawing for a $100 gas card across the Wichita region, she said. Donors have a 1 in 500 chance of winning, she said. Walk-ins are welcome.
