LAWRENCE — Accordion mad-man Jeffery Broussard and the Creole Cowboys will peform their high-energy zydeco and Creole classics Friday night as the kick-off to the Lied Center’s concert series. The free concert and family arts festival begins at 6 Friday night at the Lied. Later this season — Prairie Home Companion’s Garrison Keillor, Jim Brickman, bluegrass legend Del McCoury, the musical “Fiddler on the Roof,” and the Kansas City Symphony.
