BALDWIN CITY — Baldwin City Vintage Park Assisted Living director Sue Brown has been named national director of the year by the National Centers for Assisted Living. Brown told the Baldwin City Signal that she was shocked by the national honor. She was the state winner last year and was nominated for the national honor. The group said national winners are picked according to innovation, providing high-quality, individual care; strong leadership and teamwork skills. She will be honored at the national convention in October in California.
