OSAGE CITY — How would you like to parachute out of an airplane just one time? How about parachuting out a plane 101 times in one day? That’s what happened recently when Skydive Kansas instructor Jeremy Struemph of Lawrence set a record for skydives in a single day near Osage City. Struemph was helping raise awareness and money for pancreatic cancer research. The support staff required for a 100-jump day includes a pilot, a dozen parachute packers, and friends, relatives and well-wishers to offer drinks, food and other support. Struemph raised more than $3,300 for cancer research with his record jumps.
