GARNETT — Representatives from the Kansas Small Business Development Denter at Pittsburg State University will be in Garnett on Tuesday, Sept. 7, for free individual counseling sessions 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Extension office meeting room in downtown Garnett. Local residents interested in starting new businesses or business owners who’d like to develop their businesses or who are interested in discussing their financing can talk to small-business counselors. Appointments are encouraged. Call the Pittsburg State Small Business Center at 620-235-4920. Walk-ins will be accommodated as time permits.
