OTTAWA — It’s the Ottawa Braves versus the Baker Wildcats, and it’s not even Saturday. In advance of the much-anticipated Ottawa-Baker football rematch, head OU coach Kent Kessinger and Baker head coach Mike Grossner will appear on Brad Howard’s live radio show from Ottawa Retirement Plaza this morning. Bob Johnson, who calls the Braves’ games on KOFO, and Tom Hedrick, who calls the Wildcats’ games on KOFO, will also take part. Kessinger will be on at 9, Grossner at 9:30 this morning. The two teams haven’t played since 1993 but was a storied rivalry before. The rematch resumes Saturday night at 6 in the Victory Sports Network First Down Classic at People’s Bank Field. The game will be carried live on KOFO 1220 Country, on high-definition radio at FM 92.9 HD-2 and on-line at www.kofo.com.
