OTTAWA — Once a mathematical oddity created by bored Oakland Raider officials and Oakland Tribune reporters nearly 40 years ago, it’s become part of the American cultural and sports landscape. It’s fantasy football. It’s may be a fantasy but it’s very real to the more than 27 million Americans who spend an average of nine hours a week during football season playing it. Community Perspective, KOFO’s Sunday morning public affairs program, will look at the fantasy football phenomena.
