LAWRENCE — Lawrence tourism leaders hope it becomes one of them Lawrence things. The first Ffinal Friday begins Friday at more than 30 galleries, restaurants and shops in downtown Lawrence. The Lawrence Journal-World reports the Final Fridays are an attempt to make Lawrence a regional art center – “the Santa Fe of the Midwest.”
