TOPEKA — A Minnesota-based egg farm has announced a recall of more eggs because they could be contaminated with salmonella. Sparboe Farms said those eggs were produced by Wright County Egg and Hillandale farms, the two giant corporate egg farms that announced a recall of a half-billion eggs earlier this month. The Kansas Department of Agriculture said Sparboe has sold some of the recalled eggs in Kansas. The company says it believes most of the recalled eggs have been removed but says you should check your egg cartons. Sparboe packaged under the following brand names: Albertson, Sparboe Farms, Liborio Market, Shamrock Foods, Glenview Farms and Shurfresh. Check for egg cartons with the plant number of 1167 and the date codes of 214, 215 and 219. Also Shurfresh eggs with the plant number of 1906 and date codes of 211 and 218.
