BALDWIN CITY – G.I. Jobs has named Baker University as a “Military Friendly School” for 2011. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools which are doing the most for veterans as students. Items used for the rating include flexibility, on-campus veterans programs, credit for service and military spouse programs. Other Kansas schools on the list include Kansas State, Pittsburg State, Wichita State and Johnson County Community College.
