GARNETT — A former Garnett resident, Reah Katzer, has received this year’s Florence Nightingale Nurse of Distinction Award from the Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. Award winners demonstrate clinical excellence to patients, visitors and coworkers on a daily basis, the hospital told the Anderson County Review. Katzer also serves as a mentor to new nurses.
