CINCINNATI — The Procter & Gamble Company is recalling a small number of bags of cat food because it could be tainted with salmonella. The company said it traced and retrieved all but 60 bags of Iams “Indoor Weight Control With Hairball Care” dry cat food. The recalled cat food was sold through a single retail chain, including Kansas. Humans and cats could be exposed to salmonella by handling or eating the cat food, the company said. The recall includes one specific lot of dry cat food. The 6.8-pound bag will have the product code of 02304173 (B1-B6); UPC 1901403921. If you have one of the bags, get rid of it.
