Ottawa–This year the Kansas State Highway Systems are being recognized. In an annual study by the Reason Foundation, Kansas ranks third in highway expenditures, pavement and bridge condition, and urban interstate congestion. This is the second consecutive year Kansas has been ranked third in the Reason study. The Kanas Highway System was also recognized as the best in the nation according to Reader’s Digest Magazine eariler this year.
