INDEPENDENCE, Kan. — Small businesses in Kansas interested in getting government contracts will get to know some of the ins and outs at a seminar presented in southeast Kansas. The “Introduction to Government Contracting” seminar will begin at 1 p.m. Sept. 21 at Independence Community College. There is a fee of $25 per person. he seminar will teach how businesses can target local, state, and federal government contracting opportunities.
