TOPEKA — When he walks out of his office for the last time in January, Gov. Mark Parkinson will have a new job. Parkinson said he will be the next president of the American Halth Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living. The group is the national non-profit organization which represents assisted living, nursing facility, developmentally-disabled and sub-acute care providers for more than 3.5 million elderly and disabled individuals.
