OTTAWA — A 26-year-old Ottawa man remains in stable condition at a Kansas City hospital after being shot in the shoulder Saturday night. According to a news release from the Ottawa Police Department, Adam Michael Grace who lives in the 1100 block of West Eagle Pass Court confronted an intruder in his home and was shot by the suspect. Grace said the suspect then left the residence. Ottawa Police Department Lt. Adam Weingartner said the Johnson and Franklin County K-9 units were brought in to help search for the suspect, the suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket. The suspect was not located after a search by officers on foot.
